Garden Maintenance
Scotties is not your average gardening business, as we specialise in regular total maintenance care of your garden and lawn throughout the year. Our service Includes - Hand weeding with a weed control program, trimming plants, hedges, citrus tree pruning, rose bush pruning, fertilising plants, lawn care, removal of all green waste and pest management control.
GARDEN
Gardens are scheduled in for either
Monthly visits or 2 or 3 monthly recurring schedules.
LAWN MOWING
In between getting your garden maintenance, we regularly mow your lawn to keep it looking neat and tidy.
What we do
WEED CONTROL PROGRAM - We take care of your weed control needs with a program to get those pesky weeds in line before they become a huge problem. Regular spraying of weeds and hand weeding to keep them under control. We can even put mulching around garden beds to reduce weeds from coming up.
PLANT TRIMMING - Regular and careful trimming of plants is essential to maintaining a healthy plant. Particularly so they don't get overgrown and woody. Regular trimming will prevent this and light trimming will keep it green all year round.
PRUNING CITRUS TREES - We know when it's time to prune your citrus trees. The best time to prune is soon after harvest in winter to early spring before bud break. For late varieties where two crops may hang on the tree at once some of the new crop may be lost. It’s important to know how to prune a citrus tree's if you want a healthy plant abundant with zesty fruit. Pruning should involve removing unhealthy, unwanted and poorly positioned branches but minimise the loss of healthy foliage.
PRUNING ROSE BUSHES - Pruning your rose bushes is a specialised job and must be done in the correct way. If roses are not pruned at the right time, this can reduce the flowers and harm the rose bushes. We know the best time to prune your roses, so you'll have a rose bushes with lots of beautiful roses. We will also stake your rose bushes so they don't fall over and brake the stems. Pest control is another thing we do to keep your rose bushes healthy.
